Whether you are a boss or an employee, it is a universal key to success. You must be continually seeking ways to outsource, delegate and get other people to do things that pay you a lower hourly rate than you desire to earn.

The fact is that all of life is a contest of some kind. You are in competition with everyone else who wants a salary increase and promotion, whether you like it or not. A race is on and you are in it. Your job is to move yourself into the lead and then figure out how to move ahead faster than the other people around you.

There are four people you need to forgive if you are serious about changing your life and learning how to live in the now.
The first are your parents, living or dead. You must absolutely forgive them for every mistake they ever made in bringing you up. At the very least, you should be grateful to them for giving you life. They got you here. If you are happy to be alive, you can forgive them for everything else. Never complain about them again. In the last fifty years, researchers studying the methods of motivating employees and building great teams have found that the single most important motivator turns out to be “clear expectations.” When employees are asked to describe the best jobs they ever had, they invariably say, “I always knew exactly what my boss expected.”
